Well done to our A team, who beat Pinhoe A by three points in the county final of the Kynoch Shield.
The match was a real example of the importance of making every shot count, as neither team was able to produce its best form and only one shooter (Pinhoe’s Lindsay Agates) could achieve her “ton” by shooting to her chosen start.
Nevertheless, the victory means that Bideford can now set their sights on the inter-county final against Cornwall on April 3rd, aiming to keep the Kynoch Shield in Devon, as they have done for seven out of the last nine years the competition has been shot.
Good luck all !
